THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPER

This one is a little different...
Two Different Versions.
Two Different Morals.

OLD VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY:
Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant 's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.' Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.

Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

Mason Weaver On The Race Card & Who Is The Real Racist?

New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd chalked up Rep. Joe Wilson's "You lie" outburst during Obama's healthcare speech to flat out racism. Yet, when Kanye West steals the moment from white girl, Taylor Swift, by pointing to a black woman, Boyonce, saying her video is better, nobody in the press mentions racism. Kanye West will call George Bush a racist all day long, even though George Bush was the first president to have not one, but two black Secretaries of State and a Hispanic Attorney General. As well as had done more for Africa than Nelson Mandela or any man in history has done. Well, after his spat at the VMAs where Kanye said he was a "...fan of real pop culture", it sounded like he means real pop culture is black. West or Wilson, who seems more like a racist?

I saw a prominent black republican say on C-span once that, white people don't wake up in the morning hating black people as much as black people wake up hating Whitey. I wish I could remember his name...I think it was Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, who said he didn't have an Afro, he had an Amerifro.

Being Vegan

......I've been a vegan for 17 years. I'm strong, healthy and the food I eat tastes great. My favorite foods used to be Chinese spare ribs, Big Macs, and all kinds of cheeses, but since then my palate has changed. Those things don't taste so great anymore. In fact, most of it smells putrid. If you're thinking about going vegan, I want to tell you it's pretty easy these days and your carbon footprint will be a lot less than steak eating Al Gore's.

Terrorist Training Camps in the US

Why is there still so many "useful idiots" walking around? By Dhruva Aliman

I just saw an 18 year old rocker boy wearing a hammer and sickle t-shirt with CCCP on it. This kid was in a rock n'roll band and he didn't even know that Stalin had banned Rock and Jazz, and made it against the law to even play those instruments. Those who were caught listening or playing to "unofficial" music were thrown in prison for crimes against the state. Lenin said, "Every artist, everyone who considers himself an artist, has the right to create freely according to his ideal, independently of everything. However, we are Communists and we must not stand with folded hands and let chaos develop as it pleases. We must systemically guide this process and form its result." Is that what this rocker boy believes? He seemed like a real nice kid but, did he know Stalin killed between 20-40 million of his own people? And that Mao killed up to 70 million of his own people? Does he like the fact that if he lived in the Soviet Union he would not have been able to leave? Does he know Communism killed far more innocents than the Nazis? No. However, the real question is: Why do these ignoramuses exist in the first place? Weren't they suppose to learn about this in school?

Are our teachers explaining to these high schoolers that in this country while Bush was president, you could stand on any street corner and bash him all you wanted, but if you did that to ANY communist leader in their country, you would disappear without a trace? How did we fail to give kids the most basic perspective about the events of the 20th century? Did not enough people die in the 20th century to motivate us enough to make sure our future caretakers understand historical basics?

It's not just kids, I was at a Bondage Ball the other day. Yes, that's right, I go to things like that. It was filled with bi-sexual, deviant, tattooed men and women. The guys had long hair and trans-gender clown costumes, and they were playing some kind of hybrid, electro rock music, AND...they had a framed picture of Che Guevara on the wall. I said to the hostess, who was trying to untangle her vaginal ring piercing from her fishnet pantyhose, "Do you know this guy would throw all of you into concentration camps and would execute the gays in here right on the spot?" She looked at me like a deer in the headlights. Che Guevara said everybody should conform. He hated Rock N' Roll, dudes with long hair, and thought gays should be exterminated. These bondage partiers hate George Bush, who would let them whip each other in the ass till the cows come home, and hate Dick Cheney who supports Gay Marriage, but they LOVE Che...Fascinating.

Hitler needed the help of Japan, Italy, and Spain to kill 50 million in WWII. Stalin, all by himself, killed 20-40 million of his own people, and Mao killed over 70 million. Yet, still we have multi-million dollar actress, Cameron Diaz going down to Peru wearing a purse with a Communist red star on it, and she was puzzled why the Peruvians were screaming bloody murder. The Maoist "Shining Path" terrorist insurgency almost destroyed Peru in the 1980s and early 1990s. She later apologized, but does she get it? A woman that makes good money from a capitalist system who would never have had such an opportunity under Communism.
Johnny Depp is her male counterpart, wearing the Che t-shirt. It's fun to make movies and get payed millions, not so much fun doing hard labor for the rest of your life and dying in a concentration camp. Fidel Castro threw librarians in prison for 25 years just because they had books he didn't like. Then there's Sean Penn, who loves to yuck it up with Hugo Chavez. How twisted do you have to be to have made your entire career based on freedom of expression, and then, coddle a dictator that would never let you have one iota of that freedom in his country. The insanity is breathtaking.

But it's not just kids, partiers and entertainers, it's the president of the United States as well. Self proclaimed communist revolutionary Van Jones is currently, as of the date of this post, a Special Adviser to President Obama. Obama has a lot of ties to Communist sympathizers.

They say we won the Cold War. Did we really?
And if we did, what was the point, if we don't make our kids understand why?
The term "Useful Idiot" or "Useful Innocents" was used by the Communists themselves to describe Soviet sympathizers in Western liberal countries. In modern day, the term applies to anybody that are propagandists for causes they do not comprehend.

"Why people who enjoyed freedom and prosperity worked passionately to destroy both is a fascinating question, one still with us today. Now the useful idiots can be found in the chorus of appeasement, reflexive anti-Americanism, and sentimental idealism trying to inhibit the necessary responses to another freedom-hating ideology, radical Islam." -Bruce Thornton, a professor of Classics at American University of Cal State Fresno.

Come to think of it, I went to high school in Claremont, California (a college town) and Manhattan, New York, in the 80's. I didn't learn about this there either. I learned about dates and events, but not the meaning of them.

And then there's literally, the most big fat Useful Idiot of them all, Michael Moore, who makes millions off the capitalist system while decrying it.

Fortunately, there are people like former Communist, David Horowitz to spell it out.
